Re: under pressure bird
Hummm let see LS1 driveshafts break while running 12's , 35 yr old rotten steel driveshafts woth factory joints manage to make into the 9 . Somehow the world seems to be upside down , what next 10 bolts are stronger than 12 bolts [ oh yeah in John's case that true too ]

Re: under pressure bird
Damn old car broke another u joint that lead to driveshaft snappage today, but not before it ripped off a 9.30@150.5 mph http://www.streetfire.net/video/pump-ga ... 311117.htmfirst pass they told me to slow down and i need a chute, was funny cause they were on the return road and i didn't even know what i ran, he said i broke 150 mph, then i told him i was spinning and peddling it. so i did some almost full passes, then let it rip fairly good but was still not right on the wood for the first part of the track, thats where i have traction probs, and thats when it ran the 9.30, i went up for another rip and the guy asked at the staging lanes if i had been talked to about the speed im going so i said yes and gaver shit again then broke the driveshaft again...my new one was a bit shorter then i felt safe with and stuck a really good spare in, new u joint didn't like what i was doing to it though.

Re: under pressure bird
new driveshaft, tires and pinion angle adjusted and it works...new best also on another pass cut a 1.37 60 foot, so don't tell me sparta doesn't hook, this is stock leafs with no traction bars or shit. Track was awesome. heres some of the fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELb2gQmrruYhttp://youtu.be/Nrhuc20okJQhttp://www.streetfire.net/video/given-er_2383702.htm
