Re: project undo, the strory of my 95 Z28
well the car is still in storage so no work has been done but i have spent some money... picked up these eibachs from a forum user, and picked up these firebird seats from Cambridge auto wreckers for 100 bucks, they need a good cleaning and there is a little bit of wear on the drivers bolster but they are so much better then what i have. oh and you can see a header in the picture, i got a set of used edelbrock shorties for 100 bucks from a guy on kijiji.

Re: project undo, the strory of my 95 Z28
Was there anything left of that car that the seats came out of? Was it an ls car?

Re: project undo, the strory of my 95 Z28
it was a 3.4L, most of the interior is still there, i'm going to go there and try to get the back seat when i sell my toyota (need more spending money haha). the body is complete, it has a trans am bumper but its not perfect, they have a bunch of 4th gens there, (convertible lt1 t/a, one or 2 camaros, and i think 2 more firebirds) the snow is deep so exploring is not to easy now.

Re: project undo, the strory of my 95 Z28
Hopefully they only used a bolt on kit, the ones I had to remove off the old 2000, the dirty buggers welded the brackets on, then glassed it all to add to the insult, now that was a chore and a half to convert back I hope who ever did yours, was better with the wiring then the person who botched ours, they extended all the wires into the doors, cut, splice and electrical tape, and to make matters worse, used the same coloured wires on all, so that turned into a disaster too Everyone has there own tastes, and I know mine are not agreed apon by everyone on here but good god people, at least do it right Not so good pics, but you should be able to see the mess I had to grind off, car turned out good in the end at least, won a few awards

Re: project undo, the strory of my 95 Z28
i guess im lucky because they are just bolted on not welded on but it sounds like the wiring on yours is just as "custom" as mine is... this is what i had to deal with this weekend. my drivers window was not working, and my passenger one was very slow so i popped off the window switch and found this mess thats speaker wire taped into the factory harness... just twisted and taped... all going to these relays that were self tapped into the door... after everything was removed, the factory wires soldered and shrink tubed back together the windows work like new. i think this car is going to be full of surprises.

Re: project undo, the strory of my 95 Z28
What the heck is with all the relays in the door? What do they do? lol
It wouldve been a lot easier to mount those under the dash then go through all that trouble to put them IN the damn door! wow! Takes some kinda special to be that guy hahaha.
Glad you got it worked out!

Re: project undo, the strory of my 95 Z28
When it comes to "wiring jobs" I've seen some winners too. Every single old Dodge that I ever had a hood open on was a sloppy spaghetti mystery
